Why is garden design important?A garden design is important for various reasons. Most importantly it enables the client to visualise what their new garden will look like once completed. Every garden is unique, therefore prior to any design work your garden will be analysed and surveyed in order to understand its total area and changes in levels. The design will include specifications for hard landscape material types e.g., porcelain, natural stone, composite decking, fencing, water feature and soft landscape items including plants, trees and lawn areas.

What is included in my design?Within your garden design package will be a series of Vector works drawings drafted in 2D & 3D CAD. You will receive an initial Outline plan, Detail plan (with material specifications), construction drawings of features e.g. walls, step detail, setting out plan and planting plan with Latin plant names.

Can you advise on styling?Yes, we can also supply and install garden furniture, bespoke planters/pots, sculptures and other styling elements.

Can you supply and install outdoor kitchens?Yes, we are able to supply and install bespoke garden kitchens. Outdoor kitchen design has become a feature in garden projects. Reputable brands specialising in this are Grillo and WWOO outdoor kitchens.

How much will my garden cost?There is no set cost for a garden because all gardens are different and dependent upon many different factors. Budgets for our garden projects start from £ 20,000+Vat and we have completed projects with a value of £250,000 Inc Vat.

Do you have an in-house team?Yes, our team members are all multi-disciplinary and accomplished in all areas of landscaping from design, construction and horticulture. Our team members have trained at the renowned horticultural college Capel Manor. Unlike many companies, we do not use sub-contracted operatives.

How long will my garden design take?Gardens are normally designed in approximately 2-4 weeks and is dependent on scale and complexity.

I do not have side access, is it still possible to landscape my garden?"Yes, there are a large proportion of gardens in Central London without a side access and we are experienced in completing gardens with limited access.

Which areas of London do you cover?Our projects are primarily within Greater London and we have completed projects in Hampstead, Highgate, Crouch End, Muswell Hill, Radlett, Totteridge, Whetstone, Barnet, Kensington, Chelsea, Fulham, Putney, Chiswick, Richmond, Notting Hill, St Johns Wood, Islington and Shoreditch.

Will you need access to our WC during the build phase of my garden?No, we can arrange an external temporary WC.

What are your working hours during the build phase of my garden?Working hours are Monday-Friday 7:45-16:30.

How long will it take to build my garden?Anticipated project durations will be advised during the design process.

Can you landscape our front driveway and front garden?Yes, we landscape front gardens and are experienced in using various types of materials specific to a driveway e.g., granite setts, basalt setts, Yorkstone, Sandstone, cedagravel.

When is the best time to build my garden?We are experienced with building gardens throughout the year and to the timings that suit our clients.

How often will I need to water my garden once completed?Watering is dependent on the area of planting in a garden. We are able to install an irrigation system within the construction of your garden, which will allow for automatic and effective watering of your plants and trees.

Do you design and build roof terraces?Yes, we design & build roof terraces. We advise clients on appointing a structural engineer and any planning permissions that may be required.

Do I need to arrange skips and licenses?No, we arrange skips and skip licenses as part of the garden build process.

I am refurbishing my entire home, are you able to work alongside our architect?"Yes, we are experienced at completing garden projects where there is a principal architect e.g., we have worked previously with established and award-winning Jo Cowen Architects.

I would like a garden studio; can you build this?Yes, we install garden studios and are able to construct these to client specification. They can be fitted with lighting, electrical points and broadband. Please see our Instagram page for examples. Planning permission may be required.

Do you install water features?Yes, we are experienced installing a variety of water features.

Do you install garden lighting and electrics?Yes, we install a range of garden lighting. All electrical work is installed by our NICEIC contractor.

Are you a member of a trade association?Yes, we are proud members of BALI (British Association of Landscape Industries).

Are your materials ethically sourced?Yes, we ensure all the materials we use in our gardens are ethical. For example, our natural stone and timber suppliers are members of the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) and The Forest Trust (TFT)

Will you maintain our garden once completed?Yes, we are able to offer maintenance packages for your garden.
